Nice stay, but breakfast was a bummer

We stayed for one night in a Queen Room with Two Queen Beds. The view of the water was awesome! The room was clean and comfy, but the breakfast area was closed, which sucked since we were really looking forward to it. The staff were helpful, but they didn't seem to know much about the food issues. Overall, it was alright.

Unfortunately, the overall condition of the property leaves much to be desired. The hot tub was out of service and looked unkempt, while the pool area didn't match the inviting pictures online—some spots appeared neglected with debris around. Notably, the breakfast was non-existent, which felt misleading based on prior expectations. The room had a musty odor, with dust accumulating in various corners and stains on the carpeting that made it hard to feel comfortable walking barefoot. Additionally, it was less than ideal to have a sliding door that was difficult to operate and obstructed by debris.

The screen door on the patio was unusable due to severe ripping!!! The bathroom light had no cover and was cluttered with dust!!! Maintenance attention is absolutely necessary!!!

The room had several issues including a torn screen door and poorly maintained amenities, leaving a sour taste about the stay. The poor cleanliness and stained carpet just added to our disappointment, and with no one to assist us properly, our experience was far from pleasant.

The view of the lake from my room was simply breathtaking. The lovely decor added a touch of charm, and I appreciated the staff's efforts to assist seniors like me with accessibility throughout the hotel.

Had some seriously scrumptious bites at Mackinaw Pastie & Cookie Co—talk about a local treasure! Plus, the staff at Ramada were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the heated pool made for a relaxing evening after roaming around town.

Total bummer on the no-breakfast situation—construction or not, where's the hustle? The hot tub was also out of action. Outdoors was a bit of an eyesore with moldy spots, and we had a bit of a battle with the A/C not working until the third try. Just wanted to kick back and chill!

the ramada had a great balcony view of the lake. our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was really friendly, especially the front desk. we enjoyed the heated indoor pool, which was refreshing after a long day of exploring.

The staff provided excellent assistance, particularly Latoya, who ensured our room had a lovely lake view. The bed was comfortable, and the clean room created a relaxing atmosphere, especially with the soothing sound of waves nearby. However, the absence of trash cans in the room was an inconvenience, and there were quite a few bugs, which detracted from enjoying the outdoor space fully. Overall, the perks of the location and comfort were appreciated, but some basic amenities were lacking.
